Summary
Late last year, I started my journey as a digital nomad. Since my job gives me the freedom to work from anywhere in the world (as long as I can be connected to the internet for most of the time) it also gives me the ability to be online working alongside my colleagues simultaneously on projects. Since then, I’ve been visiting and further exploring different countries; meeting interesting individuals from various cultures and ethnicities. Making memories with them helps me to learn from them and explore new ideas that I apply to my daily work as a product designer. Previously I have written about the pros and cons of being a digital wanderer and how it has affected the way I work here.
But the truth is that these last months, I’ve met and discussed the topic of where do digital nomads and remote workers spend their working hours from, being most of the time their apartments living room or the hotel room if they are in a city where they don’t live in. This made me think about how could a tool help these people look for a good environment and affordable spaces where they could spend their time working in their projects, businesses or simply in front of a computer with the commodities of a good workplace.
This is when Nomadik was born, after the idea of creating a platform where digital nomads and remote workers could find good working spaces, build a community around them and also add more spaces to the library.
The challenge
Build a tool for remote workers, digital nomads, creatives and everyone in the look of a good environment from where to work to offer the best options and pre-selected locations curated to their needs.
The solution
Nomadic is on a mission to provide a workspace and safe environment to all those people that want to spend some time working on their tasks in a city they are not familiar with or just want to get out of their comfort zone and try to work from a different workplace.

With Nomadik you will be able to find the perfect fit for your hustle, browsing from our curated results from all kind of workspaces, from a desk in a modern co-working space to a cosy table in a traditional quiet cafe, you will be able to filter the results based on your requirements.

You will be the one in guiding the community, making suggestions and building a tribe with your fellow remote workers and digital nomads to explore new workplace and suggest them to Nomadik and get others to share the experience.
🎟️ Promotions and campaigns
If you use Nomadik, you will get access to promotions and offers sponsored by the products that most interest you, including discounts on high-class coworking spaces, travel fees or activities around where you and other nomads will be able to share experiences together.
🗣️ Make your opinion count
Your voice will be heard and you will be able to provide feedback to improve Nomadik; either you enjoyed the experience of working in a specific location or you want to give some advice to other fellow nomads or remote workers before going to visit your place. Your reviews will be an important point to create better experiences.

Not only aimed at digital nomads but too remote workers, creatives and students that need to find an alternative workspace from where to work or do their tasks. Run by us but actively updated by the community, the curated results will display the best places based on the reviews and feedback of fellow users of the platform and featured locations suitable to work from.

By using Nomadik you will be able to find locations closer to your home or accommodation, being able to work from a different workplace every day and browsing through all kinds of locations until you find the perfect fit with you, without having to spend long hours of your day using public transport to get to your office.

Engage will local business will be one of the main aims and priorities of Nomadik, giving visibility to local coffee shops, restaurants and co-working spaces that are dazzled by the big corporations or don’t have budget enough to spend on promotion and marketing campaigns. If they have the facilities and specifications of a good workspace, it will pop up in your search results!

In future releases we plan to partner with big co-working spaces to integrate their booking system within our platform and facilitate things for those in the look for a hot desk in popular modern co-working spaces giving them discounts and special offers when signing up with them, there’s a working space for everyone and we shouldn’t forget about the big brands and their facilities.

That’s our mission, facilitate your work finding a place from to work.
